Danica Purg教授是斯洛文尼亚的布莱德管理学院院长,及中东欧发展管理协会主席,该国际协会专司多变社会中的管理人员开发,成员包括了来自55个国家的220个管理发展机构。同时,她亦是欧洲领导中心 (ELC)的主管。

在布莱德管理学院,Purg教授负责教授领导力和绩效管理。她亦专精于替艺术界或其他领域的管理层找寻灵感。
 
2010年,国际商务学会 (AIB) 评选Purg教授为年度国际教育家,表扬她在国际商业教育的杰出成就。2013年,她获选为责任管理教育原则 (PRME)的指导委员会主席,该项目是由联合国全球契约(UN Global Compact)率先发起。2016年8月,她获得德国科隆商学院企业社会责任、可持续发展,及道德与治理领域的终生成就奖。
 
Purg教授是全球契约的斯洛文尼亚地区主席。她亦是各地大学管理学院的国际顾问委员会成员,包括南非斯泰伦博斯大学商学院 (南非) 、浙江大学管理学院 (中国杭州),和昂热高等商学院 (法国)。
 
Purg教授撰写并合着了多本关于领导力的书籍和文章。她亦拥有三个荣誉博士头衔。


Prof. Danica Purg is President of the IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia, and President of CEEMAN, the international association for management development in dynamic societies, which brings together 220 management development institutions from 55 countries.  She is also leading the European Leadership Centre (ELC).
 
Prof. Purg is a professor of leadership and effective management at the IEDC-Bled School of Management.  She is particularly interested in seeking inspirations for managers in art and other fields.
 
In 2010, Prof. Purg received the 2010 International Educator of the Year Award by the Academy of International Business (AIB) for her outstanding achievements in international business education.  In 2013, she was nominated Chair of PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education) Steering Committee, an initiative started by UN Global Compact.  In August 2016, she received a Lifetime Achievement in the field of CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance, Cologne Business School, Germany.
 
Prof. Purg is President of UN Global Compact Slovenia and member of several international advisory boards at management schools worldwide, including University of Stellenbosch Business School (South Africa), School of Management Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China), and ESSCA School of Management (France).
 
She authored and co-authored several books and numerous articles on leadership issues.  Prof. Purg also holds three Doctor Honoris Causa titles.
